Professor Di Matteo is currently a J.J. Sylvester Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Johns Hopkins. He received his PhD in mathematics from École Normale Supérieure Lyon (France).

His research interests include number theory, p-adic Galois representations, p-adic Hodge theory, B-pairs, and tianguline representations.
