Online Summer Math Courses
Our courses are designed to foster active learning and use an interactive style of problem solving that improves student understanding and retention. Our courses are not self-paced, and include real-time instructor interaction five days a week. All courses are seven weeks long, beginning in June.
The workload in these 4-credit online courses is comparable to those that meet face to face. Students should expect to work a minimum of 10 hours per week to be successful. This requires that you be self-disciplined, motivated, and have some skills using a computer and a Web browser. Students can expect two midterm exams and a final exam. Students unable to take these exams on campus are required to find a proctor. All proctors must be approved by the Department of Mathematics.
