Ashwin Iyengar is a J. J. Sylvester Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University. He previously did a PhD at the LSGNT in London under the supervision of James Newton and Toby Gee. He is broadly interested in number theory and arithmetic geometry, especially the Langlands program.
