Our courses are designed to foster active learning and use an interactive style of problem solving that improves student understanding and retention. Our courses are not self-paced, and include real-time instructor interaction five days a week. All courses are eight weeks long, beginning in June.
The workload in these 4-credit online courses is comparable to those that meet face to face. Students should expect to work a minimum of 10 hours per week to be successful. This requires that you be self-disciplined, motivated, and have some skills using a computer and a Web browser. Students can expect two midterm exams and a final exam. Students unable to take these exams on campus are required to find a proctor. All proctors must be approved by the Department of Mathematics.
You will find more information about proctors and the proctor form here.
